If you want to join the defense line, you must have physical fitness and educational qualification. It is very important that a candidate is mentally and physically fit to contribute to the defense line.
If you want to join defense line then you have to put in a lot of effort because in defense line there is a lot of applying outside the recruitment. So that the competition goes on.
Defense line recruitment comes out every year in abundance. That's why you have to stay updated all the time, you have to know which jobs are out, what are the eligible criteria. Candidates have to pass 4 stages in defense line.

Indian Air Force Eligible Criteria:
Age Criteria:
Minimum age of the candidates 17 years
Maximum age of the candidates 23 years
Physical standard test:
- Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms
- Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Written Test:
Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as
per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
Other Than Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE
syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
Science Subjects & Other Than Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise of
English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
Physical Fitness Test which would consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed within
06 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats within the
stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
Medical Examination:
- Blood Haemogram - Hb, TLC, DLC
- Urine RE/ME
- Biochemistry (i) Blood Sugar Fasting & PP (ii) Serum Cholesterol (iii) Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine (iv) LFT- Serum Bilurubin, SGOT, SGPT
- X- Ray chest (PA view)
- ECG (R)
- Tests for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Abuse.
- Any other test necessary in the opinion of the Medical Officer
Indian Coast Guard Eligibility Criteria:
Age Criteria:
Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years.
Written Examination:
Maths, Science, English, Reasoning, GK, Physics
Physical Fitness Test
1.6 Km run to be completed in
7 minutes.
20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
10 Push-up.
Document Verification
All the information

certificate/individual subject and aggregate marks.
Assam Rifles Eligibility Criteria:
Age limit: 18-23 years
Age Relaxation available to different category of eligible Candidates are
ST/ SC - 5 years
OBC - 3 years
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
For Male Candidates . 05 km run to qualify within 24
minutes.
For Female Candidates - 1.6 km run to qualify within 8.30 minutes.
Trade Test (Skill Test):
Trade(Skill)Test for technical & tradesmen personnel will
be conducted after the completion of PET/PST in continuation. No marks will be awarded for
trade (skill) test. The candidates declared pass in the trade (skill) test will only be allowed to
appear in the Written Test.
Written Test:
The question paper of written test will comprise of 100 marks.
Minimum pass marks for General/Ewd candidates is 35% and 33% marks for SC/ST/OBC
candidates.
Medical Examination:
